BCT Takes 2nd in Huntington Waypoint Classic

After day one with rough sea conditions, Best Chance Too was in 2nd place with a limit catch by 10 o'clock. On day two the wind switched directions and the seas were rougher yet. At 10:00 BCT had 2 barely legal fish, and things were doom and gloom for the team. After making a move farther inside to calmer water,s BCT was able to pull a limit of nice kings in an hour and a half. They were able to close a huge gap on the 1st place boat, but ended up maintaining their 2nd place standing.

Best Chance Too wins the 2011 Muskegon Salmon Shootout, coming from 3rd place after the first day. They made their 3rd move of the day and had only caught one fish in four hours of fishing. The crew's morale was quite low, but near the end of the fishing period they were able to take 6 fish in 40 minutes to capture the 1st place prize.
